Starting a new journey in your life 

A new journey

This new journey is just beginning,
Those first steps taken just yesterday.
Upon this new path you are pinning,
Your hopes for finding a better way.

Yesterday’s dreams you have now outgrown,
Tomorrow’s hopes are not really clear.
And in this moment you feel alone,
As you face your nerves and your fear.

But you feel that this path is true,
That it has a sparkle there to find.
That it is leading you to a view,
That matches the new dream in your mind.

Those first steps were not easy to take,
But your courage has shown you the way,
And from that, a new life you can make,
As those new dreams become real today.
