Topsy’s gone exploring
The Neighbour’s Garden
So adorable and sweet,
Topsy’s walking down the street,
Her small paws placed carefully on the ground.
She had found an open door,
So has gone out to explore,
Wondering just what there was to be found.
Coming to the neighbours’ gate,
She has a short debate,
Curiosity won, so in she strolled.
A place she has never been,
There are new plants to be seen,
And a statue, looking weathered and old.
Keen to see what was beyond,
She discovers a round pond,
With some fishes swimming everywhere.
She hears her name being called,
But she is far too enthralled,
Watching the fishes swimming here and there.
The neighbour could hear their shout,
And decided to look out,
Spotting her in his garden, so carefree.
With a smile he went to her,
Picked up this bundle of fur,
And took her back home to where she should be.
