Waking up happiness

Waking up from within,
A new life can begin,
The sleepiness of your past fades away.
Beginning a new song,
Feeling you are strong,
A sense of freshness within this new day.

A chance to dance again,
To learn a new refrain,
To hum joyfully to all those around.
To sing out loud and clear,
Tomorrow is now here!
That a brighter future has been found.

To skip along the road,
Shedding life’s stressful load,
Letting laughter float off into the air.
To feel the warming sun,
Your new life has begun!
Your dreams of happiness are all there.
