Doggy and other Doggy
Written about the dogs in the photo

My sister has two doggies that are hard to tell apart.
It’s a problem I’ve carried right from the very start.
So my names for them I have redefined just for me,
The first one I encounter I give the name of ‘doggy’.
The second gets called ‘other doggy’, when it walks on by,
This means I don’t forget their names, nor even have to try.
Which dog gets which name depends upon which one I meet first,
Of course, the next time I meet them, their names might get reversed.
They will still come over to me, for a fuss or a treat,
Waiting whilst I sit down, before joining me on the seat!
Whichever name I call the dog, it answers just the same,
They don’t mind in the slightest if I don’t use their real name.
