My time is my own once more

My time is my own once more, this day belongs to me,
It is all mine to explore, this day I am set free.
I can pick the place to go, I can walk where I will,
I can decide yes or no, I can run or standstill.

I can sit in peace or shout, it matters not this day,
I can stay in or go out, I can choose my own way.
I can jump high in the air, or lay down on a mat,
Let the breeze blow through my hair, or find myself a hat.

I can spend it all alone, or meet up with a friend,
For this day is mine to own, all mine until the end.
Whatever I choose to do, this world with you I share,
My kindness will still shine through, my smile will still be there.
