Love may be a Whisper (poem)

Love may be a Whisper

Love may be a whisper, but it has no need to shout.
For even in silence, love can travel far and wide.
Love cannot be contained, always it finds a way out.
Within the light of love, darkness has no place to hide.

Love may be an action, helping someone who’s in need.
Acting without hesitation when that need is found.
Love cannot be destroyed, for love is like a seed.
Resilient and ready to rise up through the ground.

Love may seem to disappear, but it never goes far.
For within everyone one of us, love lives true.
Love cannot fade away, but will shine bright like a star.
Within your heart, love will always be in there for you.

You almost walked past me (love poem)

You almost walked past me

You almost walked past me on that day.
I almost wandered another way.
Yet something made me stop, take a pause,
A random choice with no special cause.
Maybe it was the view, a nice sky,
But in truth, I will never know why.

I was standing there when you came near.
Something made you choose to stop just here.
Two strangers admiring the view,
Two strangers seeking for the new.
Others were there, it was a nice spot,
But just how many, I’ve now forgot.

You made a comment, spoken out loud,
About the funny shape of a cloud.
Talking to yourself, that’s what you done,
But from those words, our future begun.
I laughed a little, you looked at me,
And with your laugh, you set my heart free.

Now many years later, here we stand,
Content with life, standing hand in hand.
Both so glad of that moment of fate,
You found my heart and opened its gate.
I found your heart, you opened it wide,
Together in life, our hearts reside.

Love is Living within Tomorrow (Poem)

Love is Living within Tomorrow

Love is living within tomorrow,
Even if it’s not found in today.
Let yesterday keep all its sorrow,
Let tomorrow show you a new way.
In your heart, love is always beating,
Even in your moments of despair.
Even when you find life defeating,
In your heart, love is still beating there.

In your life, you feel love you are lacking,
There is not a trace of it to be found.
But your heart gives love all of its backing,
Encouraging your love to stand its ground.
Encouraging your love to rise up once more,
Letting love flow into every part,
Let your love open up tomorrow’s door,
For love is always found within your heart.

Love means more than just a kiss (love poem)

Love means more than just a kiss

Love means more than just a kiss shared in the dark,
Love means more than walking, hand in hand, through the park.
Love means more that spending a lifetime together,
For love is more than lovers promising forever.

Loves gentle hand is found in those kind deeds that you do,
From words of encouragement that help to get you through.
Love is found in a thoughtful mind thinking this day,
Of how it can help others to find a better way.

Love picks up all the pieces other hearts leave behind,
Then patches them up with happiness for you to find.
Love waits patiently until you are ready to mend,
For love is found in anyone who is also a friend.

Sharing your love in hard times (poem)

Sharing your love in hard times

Love may never seem easy when times are very hard,
Sometimes you feel that there is nothing left within.
Sometimes it seems fate has dealt you an unforgiving card,
And you feel that, with the game of love, you cannot win.

Love needs no cards, for there is no game it has to play,
So take those cards and toss them high up into the air.
Love lives within your heart and can never fade away,
Just hand it out, for there is plenty in there to share.

Sweet memories of love

Through the sweet memories of love, you are still here,
Within the depths of my heart, your love is still near.
Though your hand I may no longer be able to hold,
I feel your arm around me whenever I feel cold.

You are there, wherever in this world I may be,
Your joy and happiness still live deep within me.
That, although I may now walk through life on my own,
Through the sweet memories of love, I am not alone

I will meet you again in the spring (love poem)

I will meet you again in the spring

I will meet you again in the spring,
Just for now, we must stay apart.
But when the time comes, then I will bring,
All of the love that I have in my heart.
Let these long days of winter drift by,
Let’s remember just how close we are.
We still share the same moon in the sky,
And can still wish upon the same star.

I will meet you again in the spring,
I shall think of you each winter’s day.
Letting your love pluck at my heartstring,
With the sweet melodies it can play.
Even now the spring plants are growing,
In defiance of winter’s cold stance,
The first of their green tips are showing,
Just wander outside and take a glance.

I will meet you again in the spring,
When the blossom appears on the trees
When the birds in the garden all sing,
To the accompaniment of the bees.
But for now, in my heart I will hold you,
Until we can be together once more.
Let our good memories guide us through,
Until spring, when I’ll walk through your door.

A carton of Kindness (poem)

A carton of Kindness

I have some cartons of kindness
Please do come and get one today.
They are all made from helpfulness,
And filled with kind words to say.

There are plenty here for you to share,
With anyone else who’s around.
Just let them know that you are there,
And that with you, kindness can be found

They contain good deeds of all sorts,
Mixed together with a gentle touch.
There’s a sprinkling of kind thoughts,
Of those, you can never have too much!

It’s price is just a piece of your heart,
With a bit of tenderness as well.
There’s enough here to fill any cart,
And it costs you nothing at all to resell.

So come and pick up a carton today,
Add it to your list of things to do!
Then share it as you go on your way,
And help to make this a kinder world too.

Love and Kindness hand in hand (poem)

Love and Kindness hand in hand

Upon the road of life, love and kindness go strolling hand in hand,
And in our times of strife, they will work together to save our land.
Stretching out to us all, wrapping humanity within their embrace,
Peace and calm come to call, when love and kindness enter the place.

Kindness seeks out our fears, beside it love carries a guiding light,
They will help dry our tears, helping us to get through our darkest night.
Kindness will endure the pain, for love gives it the strength to survive,
Together they will remain, keeping humanities hopes alive.

Faithful to us they stay, for in sad times they are our truest friends,
Helping us find our way, until the battle with hate and anger ends.
We can assist them too, by letting them guide us through this sorrow,
Helping others get through, let our love and kindness build tomorrow.

Let peace find a way

Let peace find a way,
Throughout this new day,
Let love find a place in your life.
Let forgiveness win,
Share peace from within,
And let harmony replace strife.

Show others you care,
That you will be there,
When this day brings troubles to them.
Where discord if found,
Then turn it around,
And let peace shine bright, like a gem.
