New Years hopes and resolutions

Let this new year be the beginning of a new life,
Where inner courage can be found to face any strife.
Where hope can be found upon the dawn of each new day,
And through all the toils and troubles, that there is a way.

Let kindness, love, and compassion find a path through me,
So when I meet strangers in need, a friend they will see.
Let understanding and clear sight guide the things I do.
For those who struggle, let me help them find a way through.

Let forgiveness be given when others do things wrong.
On days I feel weak, Let me find the strength to be strong.
And as this new year begins to mature and grow old,
Let my journey cause tales of my kindness to be told.
