Hold on to your dreams (poem)

Hold on to your dreams

Hold onto your dreams when troubled times arrive,
It’s within your heart that your dreams can survive.
They shelter you from all those problems around,
It’s within your dreams that tomorrow is found.

Dreams bring into your life a way to get through,
A place of sanctuary and retreat for you.
Within your dreams your inner self can walk free,
No matter how large or small your dreams may be.

Within your darkest days your dreams can shine bright,
For the hopes they hold all carry their own light.
They stay with you as you seek for a new way,
Guiding you through darkness to a brighter day.
