Yesterday I lost you

Yesterday I lost you, my love, my sweetheart and truest friend,
Yesterday upon this earth, our time together came to an end.
You were always there by my side, together we were strong,
For so many years you shared your love, together we belong.
We laughed, we played, and through troubles times we walked together,
Although you may have passed away, your love will stay forever.
