Grey clouds and Blue skies (poem)

04 Jul

Grey clouds and Blue skies

When blue skies turn grey,
Upon this new day,
It is just a few clouds drifting past.
Just washing the sky
As they drift on by,
For those grey skies are not meant to last.

Watering the land,
Giving life a hand,
Before the sun comes back out to shine.
In the sun we sow,
In the rain we grow,
Both skies telling us that life is fine.

When life seems so grey,
It’s not meant to stay,
Grey skies will soon let the sun shine through.
The rain sweeps life clean,
A fresh world is seen,
In your heart your life feels bright and new.
