Is life just a race?
In this world we face,
There’s so much to know,
And places to go.
Life’s race has begun!
But I need not run.
For if I just stroll,
I will reach my goal.
Just a steady pace,
Let’s me win life’s race.
I need not go fast,
For my life to last.
Getting up each day,
Keeps me on life’s way.
When life is a trial,
Just rest for a while.
Lift is not a test,
To become the best.
But just to walk through,
And enjoy life’s view.
