There is always some way of helping
You can’t help everyone, but…
You can’t help everyone,
But you can help out someone,
There is always some kindness you can give.
You can’t help all those in need,
But you can do a good deed,
You can show them they have a life to live.
Kindness comes in what we do,
Helping others to get through,
Showing them that someone really does care.
We can guide them on their road,
Help them to carry their load,
Encourage them and say ‘you’re getting there’.
Understanding can be shown,
When others face the unknown,
A torch we can hold to give them some light.
Help them face another day,
Pointing out a better way,
That there’s a brighter tomorrow in sight.
A bit of love from your heart,
Can help their lives to restart,
Giving them the strength to keep on going.
And when you decide to rest,
Knowing you have done your best,
In your heart, your love will still be glowing.
