Love may be a Whisper (poem)

Love may be a Whisper

Love may be a whisper, but it has no need to shout.
For even in silence, love can travel far and wide.
Love cannot be contained, always it finds a way out.
Within the light of love, darkness has no place to hide.

Love may be an action, helping someone who’s in need.
Acting without hesitation when that need is found.
Love cannot be destroyed, for love is like a seed.
Resilient and ready to rise up through the ground.

Love may seem to disappear, but it never goes far.
For within everyone one of us, love lives true.
Love cannot fade away, but will shine bright like a star.
Within your heart, love will always be in there for you.

The ships of Love and Hope (poem)

The ships of Love and Hope

Within the storms of chaos,
Ride the ships of Love and Hope,
And when you are at a loss,
They will come to help you cope.
Sailing through inner turmoil,
Rescuing you from despair,
Guiding you to firmer soil,
And leaving you safely there.

Their sails stand tall and strong,
Their rudders guide you to the new,
Upon those ships you belong,
As they sail into your view.
From the raging sea of life,
They will lift you up onboard,
A refuge from all that strife,
From all that pain and discord.

Take the help they bring to you,
Let Love and Hope guide you now,
Trust in the changes they do,
For Love and Hope will know how.
Their ships are always around,
Sailing through every wave,
And when you want to be found,
They will always come and save.

Rainbows within tears (poem)

Rainbows within tears

I thought I caught a rainbow,
Reflecting in your sad eyes.
Bringing to your eyes a glow,
Reflecting the light in the skies.

The rainbow is shedding tears,
Raindrops of colour and light.
Droplets of your pain and fears,
As the storm clouds fade from sight.

Beyond the rainbow is the sun,
To dry up the sadness within.
And once those teardrops are done,
Then its warmth will come on in.

Rainbows within tears are found,
As the sun touches your face.
Gently falling to the ground,
Teardrops seeking a new place.

Then once the teardrops have dried,
The rainbow may fade from view.
But it’s just moved on inside,
For the rainbow lives within you.

A Kiss from my Heart (poem)

A Kiss from my Heart

A special kiss sent to you from my heart,
For sadly, I cannot be where you are.
Although we may be many miles apart,
Deep within me, it does not feel so far.

I remember all those moments with you,
Everyone one of them, precious and clear.
If I shut my eyes you come into view,
And I can feel that you with me, just here.

One day I shall be beside you again,
And once more, all of our love we can share.
For now in my heart will our love remain,
Kept safe, until the day I can be there.

Hugs, hearts and rainbows (short poems)

Hugs, hearts and rainbows

Accepting a hug

Accept a hug in joyfulness,
Let it wrap you in its loving embrace.
Let it pass on its happiness,
And set a smile upon your face.

Beginning with the heart

When something new,
Comes into your view,
It can bring uncertainty on where to start.
Just look within,
On where to begin,
For the best guide is your own loving heart.

Life’s inner rainbow

Life’s inner rainbow comes in many shades and hues,
Within every part of us these colours do dwell.
So whenever you feel you are just living in the blues,
Glance around, for the other colours are there as well.
