But it hasn’t happened yet (poem)

But it hasn’t happened yet

But it hasn’t happened yet, so it’s not too late,
The fears within us do not have to be our fate.
If there’s still a clear sky above us, we can win,
If there’s a clear road before us, we can begin.

Even if the sky’s cloudy, we can still prepare,
Even if the roads bumpy, it can get us there.
Even in the darkest night, the dawn will arrive,
If we are still standing, the dream is still alive.

If it hasn’t happened yet, we can still choose a way,
To seek out a better path to get through today.
Even if every choice is not ours to make,
We can decide within, the thoughts we want to take.

Until it has happened, we can keep on going,
And let the dreams for tomorrow keep on growing.
The way to the future can be found in your heart,
Being kind in this world is a good place to start.

Let your heart guide your way (poem)

Let your heart guide your way

Let your heart guide your way,
As you walk through each day,
Let it take you through your pain and sorrow.
Let it make your day bright,
As it brings into sight,
A path that will lead you to tomorrow.

Let your heart set you free,
To be what you can be,
To bring out the best of you from within.
Let it help you explore,
To become something more,
To become someone who in life can win.

Let your heart be your eyes,
As you look to the skies,
Let it show you the world that surrounds you.
Let your heart guide your hand,
As you help others stand,
Let your heart show just what your love can do.

Let kindness and love reappear once more (poem)

Let kindness and love reappear once more

Let kindness and love reappear once more,
Within your heart you have plenty in store.
You may have forgotten that love can win,
So take some kindness, and let love begin.
Whatever the problems, they cannot last,
One day they will become part of your past.

The pain may be great, and so hard to bear,
But within your heart, you have love to share.
Love defeats fear, kindness cures the pain,
Between them, no hate can ever remain.
Between them, a new future can be grown,
Healing begins wherever they are shown.

Reach out to others, touch them with your heart,
Upon that road of peace, your love can start.
Your love can reach out to all those in need,
Your kindness can help you to plant hopes seed.
Between them, a new tomorrow is found,
When kindness and love gets spread around.
